The planned construction of a private house and utility building in Rāmava embodies a modern understanding of living space, where functionality and aesthetics intertwine with the harmony of the surrounding environment. The project is designed as a composition of two volumes with a covered terrace that connects the living area and the utility building, creating a closed, private courtyard space.
The architectural image is based on minimalism principles, using natural and modern materials – thermally treated wood, light metal panels, and dark window frames that give the façade both warmth and expressive contrast. The rhythm of the varying roof levels and the protruding volumes add dynamism to the building, while the large windows and glass doors ensure an abundance of natural light and a close connection to the garden landscape.
The building's layout and technical solutions – including an energy-efficient heat pump and connection to city utilities – provide comfort and sustainable operation, creating a quality and aesthetically enriched living environment.
